- Guanabana ( Taggannona ): Guanabana is a green thorny fruit with a juicy, white flesh and an intense flavor of sweet citrus, pineapple and strawberry. Guanabana fruit can weigh up to 2.5kg and is very popular in Central America where it is often mixed with milk in a smoothie!
- Prickly Pear (Opuntia): Prickly pears are oval fruits that grow on Opuntia. These exotic cactus fruits have a hard outer shell that ranges in color from green to red or orange. The flesh is sweet and mild, with small edible seeds, and the flavor is reminiscent of watermelon and pear. For indoor growing, a sunny location and sandy, well-drained soil are needed.
- Red Banana: Red bananas are shorter than regular bananas and have a reddish-brown skin. The flesh is creamy, sweeter than a yellow banana, and has a light berry flavor. For indoor growing, the same conditions as regular bananas are required, high humidity and plenty of light.
- Salak (snake egg) Salak fruit has a skin that looks like snakeskin and a crunchy flesh. This tropical fruit has a sweet and sour taste, like a mix of pineapple and apple.
