Philodendron Dean McDowell is a hybrid of two very popular indoor plants, Philodendron gloriosum and Philodendron pastazanum.
A beautiful and rare hybrid with huge leaves from 1988 named after the creator 'Dean McDowell'. This particular species is an easy-care plant that needs little attention.
Care: Like its parents, philodendron Dean McDowell is a creeper and produces gigantic leaves as each node is allowed to root in the soil. We therefore recommend a long pot or moss stake , as soil we grow in our peat-free soil . Place it in indirect light and water with the aim of allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings.

Origin: Hybrid between Philodendron gloriosum X Philodendron pastazanum
Leaves: The leaves are large, heart-shaped and have a deep green color with a shiny surface. They are a sight to behold with their robust structure and elegant shape.
