Having this plant is like having a piece of the lush jungle close at hand, with all its mysteries and adventures.
Her silvery leaves, which are covered in a thin layer of wax, reflect the light in a peculiar way, while the green touches create a deeper dimension to its appearance.
Care: Place the plant in a location with indirect sunlight, water regularly and let the soil dry out between waterings. Replant when it starts to get cramped in its pot, usually every two years, and use a well-drained soil mix eg. aroid soil
Botanical description
Origin: Philippines.
Growth method: Hoya krohniana 'Super Silver' is an epiphytic plant that climbs with its winding tendrils along the trees, catching the sunlight and absorbing moisture from the air.
Succulent Leaves: The leaves of 'Super Silver' are thick and fleshy with a silvery surface covered by a thin layer of wax. This adaptation helps the plant conserve moisture and survive in dry environments, making it a suitable candidate for those looking for a hardy plant.
Flowering: When 'Super Silver' blooms, it bears small, star-shaped flowers in groups called racemes. The flowers are usually white or cream in color and have a delicate, sweet scent that attracts pollinators such as butterflies and bees.
