This rare species of Anthurium comes from the lowland rainforests of the Amazon,
Anthurium vittariifolium has narrow leaves that can grow up to 2 meters long but only 6 cm wide, making it a hanging plant with a very exclusive appearance.
Care.
Since Anthurium vittariifolium is an epiphyte, it requires a very well-drained substrate, for example with Sphagnum moss, perlite and orchid soil. You can buy our ready-mixed soil mix here. The soil should be kept slightly moist and the location should be bright but without direct sun. High humidity of at least 70% is important, and can be maintained by regularly spraying the leaves. It thrives best at temperatures between 20 and 30 °C.
