Botanical Description

Scientific Name : Musa acuminata 'Dwarf Cavendish'

Origin : Southeast Asia

Overview: There is a large amount of morphological variation among cultivated bananas. Musa spp., which include the plantain and plantain, are not trees but giant herbs with a pseudostem (formed by the bases of leaves tightly coiled around each other). Members of this genus can grow up to 15 meters tall, making them the world's largest perennial herb.

Height : Usually grows up to 1.2-1.8 meters, making it suitable for growing in pots or in the garden.

Foliage : Large, broad and green leaves that can be up to 1.5 meters long. The leaves are often slightly wavy.

Fruit : Under the right conditions, Dwarf Cavendish can produce fruit within 9-15 months of planting, which is faster than many other banana varieties. Produces medium-sized, yellow bananas that are sweet and flavorful.

The Dwarf Cavendish banana plant is a versatile and attractive plant that not only produces delicious fruit but also adds a tropical look to any garden or indoor setting. With proper care, this plant can be both a decorative and productive part of your plant collection. Buy a banana tree online!

Nice banana plants.

As I live in the countryside in Norrbotten, it took me 4 days to get the plants home after they were sent, but thanks to good packaging, they look to be in very good condition! Very satisfied!

We are glad that the plants arrived in good condition!
