Leaves : The leaves are arrow-shaped to heart-shaped with a deep, dark green color. They have a velvety texture and prominent, white to pale green veins that create an eye-catching contrast. The leaves can be up to 30–60 cm long and about 20–30 cm wide. The underside of the leaves is usually lighter green.

Growth pattern : Alocasia micholitziana grows from a rhizome and forms a compact clump of leaves. It can reach a height of about 60–90 cm under optimal conditions. The plant has an upright growth form and spreads slowly through underground rhizomes.
